Whatever we claim, we come to this world with the only purpose of either exploiting or getting exploited . If we introspect we will realize that our overall contribution is just nothing. We keep struggling throughout life to achieve things and means which give us temporary relief and keep moving forward by setting higher standards/goals. This lifelong struggle at times instigates our thought process and often poses the question of the very purpose of our existence. This individual thought acts as a turning point in any society and brings the desired change.

Just like when companies hire people while calculating the benefits a person brings with his/her expertise they also calculate the amount of risk or loss the company will have to bear if he/she proves otherwise. Similarly we also come to this world with some purpose;to graduate from animals to human beings (to fulfill our basic desires) and to super beings (when we think and work for others).

To accomplish this, certain amount of leverages are given to us by Mother Nature in terms of abundant resources. Recession as I understand is nothing but nature's way of keeping things in control or check to correct the imbalance caused by our desires which took a form of lust. In past 2-3 decades we saw that natural resources were exploited inappropriately by way of making unrealistic projections. Unrealistic means and marketing strategies were adopted to accomplish the set objectives. Market economies are also quite relative; when I project that I am over achieving my competitor will also project the same way since he also wants to keep his business running. This led to companies ignoring their inherent weaknesses and started inflating things just to remain part of the so called market boom. This bubble finally burst when a major company declared its bankruptcy. This acceptance by a major player acted as a milestone for the competition to come out of the denial mode.

Theory of relativity again comes into picture and a chain reaction starts wherein companies stat confessing about internal weakness they have been overburdened with. This results in a temporary hopeless situation which we call Recession. This process ultimately leads us to two outcomes - the first one is in the form of major lay offs which is considered and projected as an immediate solution leading to an unrest and overall stress. The second one is long term which helps us to innovate and restrict our desires to safe and practical means.

As with all of us, Present is the reality which we find difficult to face, Past is something which we can look back on to introspect, learn and enjoy.Future gives us something very important;“HOPE”. Hope keeps us alive to unveil the mysteries it has in store for us.

So let us hope for the best in the years to come!

With or without experience in how to deal with these changes, we all need to learn how to batten down the hatches and weather these troubling times.

Yes. I do agree that nature has its own unique way of balancing. Recession is one among those ways. Its just nature's way of allowing fittest to survive.
