Firstly, let me express my joy for having to publish my first weblog with so much ease !! 
For all those who have been at the receiving end to this recession turmoil, I do feel for them.
Can there be no other alternative than just layofs ? How could the employees who inspite of giving their entire effort,energy and commitment to what they have been doing efficientlyand suddenly being asked to leave be consoled ? I'm not sure.
I've known a very close friend of mine who have been asked to resign from an MNC within 2 weeks of his marriage ! How pathetic !! He has been hunting a job ever since and have not succeeded to join elsewhere. Now, he is migrating to his native place to look after his family's business unit.
What have the IT industry lost ? Maybe another professional but his colleagues,friends still say that the loss is almost certain to be forever.
A career coming to an abrupt halt !
I'm sure there are many more of such affected employees around the globe.
I wouldn't hesitate to say that there is no worse criminal, devil than the 'Recession Blues' !
